Hi! I’m so glad you’ve stopped in. I’m Heather Freeman, a textile artist using my photography, sewing, and design skills to create art inspired by nature. I love working with textile prints of my Eastern Sierra photography and pet photography, crafting those special images into ready to hang canvases, cuddly-soft minky pillows, and luxurious art scarves.
When not creating or photographing, you’re likely to find me riding bikes or walking my dogs somewhere in the Eastern Sierra, scouting out new photo ops.
Why Wild Onion…
In case you’re wondering, my business is named Wild Onion Creations because finding wild onions while exploring the outdoors has been a thrill for me, especially when they are blooming. Super easy to pass by if you aren’t paying close attention, but the purple blossoms on the pungent stems add such a punch of detail. I like to bring that level of attention to detail to my work and hope my art becomes the special treasures for you and your loved ones.
